Legal help,made clear.
Understand your legal issue, review the sources, and find a verified attorney when you need one.
General legal information for supported states. Not legal advice.
Example conversation: a tenant asks about a security deposit in Michigan. Casezy searches legal records, identifies the relevant source, and shows housing attorneys. Stock photographs illustrate example profiles, not actual Casezy attorneys.

Common questions,
clear answers.
How introductions work, what gets shared, and what happens next.
Casezy provides AI-generated general legal information. It can help you organize what happened, understand unfamiliar terms, and look at cited sources. It cannot represent you, make decisions for your case, or replace advice from a licensed attorney who knows your circumstances.
Conversations with Casezy are not protected by attorney-client privilege. An introduction also does not create an attorney-client relationship; that begins when you and the lawyer agree to work together. Confirm important facts, deadlines, and next steps with the lawyer.
When Casezy shows lawyers for your issue, open a profile to review their practice, introduction price, and starting retainer. On the website, you’ll need an account with a verified mobile number. Casezy drafts a short note from what you’ve told us; edit it or write your own, then pay the introduction price in Stripe checkout. The chat with that lawyer starts once your payment goes through.
If you’re already texting Casezy, reply with the lawyer’s CONNECT option, such as CONNECT 1. Casezy texts you the price and a secure payment link, and starts the introduction with a summary of your conversation after you pay. Viewing a profile or reading a suggestion does not contact the lawyer.
Casezy starts a new text conversation with you, the lawyer you chose, and Casezy. The opening message introduces you by name, identifies the lawyer and their firm, and includes your note or summary so they have context. The new thread appears in your phone’s messaging app, separate from your original Casezy conversation.
You and the lawyer can reply there to discuss the issue, ask initial questions, and arrange a conversation. Casezy sends the introduction and then stays quiet; it does not keep generating answers in that conversation. The lawyer decides whether they can help and when to respond.
The lawyer receives your introduction note or summary, your name if it’s available, and your phone number as a participant in the conversation. Your full original Casezy conversation is not pasted into the thread. For a website introduction, review the note before sending and remove details you don’t want to share.
Casezy remains a participant even after the bot stops replying. Messages in that conversation are stored by Casezy and can be viewed by its team. For a confidential discussion, agree on an appropriate channel directly with your lawyer. Our Privacy Policy explains how Casezy handles information.
Casezy looks for participating lawyers whose listed practice area matches the subject of your issue. The profiles shown depend on which lawyers are currently eligible to receive introductions. You choose whom to contact; we don’t send your situation to every lawyer in the directory.
These listings are not a ranking, rating, or endorsement. A practice-area match does not establish that a lawyer is right for your particular case. Ask about relevant experience and availability, and confirm their license and standing before deciding whom to hire.
You pay Casezy the introduction price shown for that lawyer, which the lawyer sets for your type of case. Casezy keeps a fee and sends the rest to the lawyer. If Casezy can’t start the group text, you get a full refund. Participating lawyers also pay Casezy a monthly membership.
Paying for an introduction does not book a paid consultation, pay a retainer, or hire the lawyer.
The starting retainer in a profile is a directory figure, not a quote for your matter. Ask the lawyer about consultation fees, how they charge, and what work is included. Any agreement about fees or representation is made directly between you and the lawyer.
